此歌是根据毕生浪漫却坎坷的诗人叶茨的同名诗歌谱曲而成，最初翻译为《柳园里》，是叶茨早年的诗作。他的早年诗歌韵律优美，感情细腻，辞藻华丽，象征意味浓郁。
不是很喜欢日本的流行音乐，感觉它们态浮夸了，而这首歌却不一样，很少有日本人的英语发音怎么好，以至我当初听到这首歌时以为是哪位欧美歌手呢。日本女歌手藤田惠美这种纯净，偶尔又带有些许慵懒的嗓音，给人一种安然柔和的感觉，沁人心田，至纯至美！
随着这淡然悠悠的音乐，随着诗人叶茨在月光下的花园静候赴约的佳人，那种年轻的，冲动的，却有憧憬无限的心情。让我想起了自己曾经的岁月，曾经激情的校园生活，月光下腼腆的守候在女生楼下的男生，那个月光下真诚的笑容以及真心的承诺。不知不觉脸上似乎也浮现出了月光一样浅浅的笑容。想起自己曾经说过的，有些人，懂得他，你需要的是宽容，有些书，读懂它，你需要的是成熟和阅历，似乎冥冥中就是暗指叶茨的这一首诗吧。

很久很久以前我听到这首歌,心中浮起要有这首歌的歌词,就天天上网找这个歌词,终于有一天我找到啦!轻音乐带给人的是欢喜,平静
